AerCap settles another dispute with a blacklisted Russian airline
AerCap, the Irish aircraft lessor, has settled a dispute with Russian airline Nordwind over the fate of five aircraft the firm had leased to the carrier. The dispute is one of many that erupted among aviation lessors, insurers and Russian airlines after Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, which saw planes stranded in Russia and billions of dollars at stake.
