Potential revamp part of €300k salvage plan for Captain Americas
A rescue plan that will see €300,000 injected into the Captain Americas restaurant upstairs on Grafton Street has been approved by the Circuit Court. Wise Dawn, a firm linked to Paddy McKillen Sr, has come aboard as an investor to help the stalwart but struggling dining establishment that first opened its doors in 1971. The scheme of arrangement put forward by examiner Joe Walsh of JW Accountants was approved by Judge Roderick Maguire late on Wednesday evening.
