Children’s author reimagines six figure royalties claim against Irish publishing house
Educational publisher CJ Fallon failed to pursue film, television and international publishing deals and gave away for free approximately €1.3 million of a successful children’s author’s materials including teacher’s notes and resource books, it is alleged in a High Court row. The claims are made in a long-running contractual dispute between writer Fiona Holmes and the publishing house over alleged lost royalties, lost opportunity and damage to business reputation valued at around €400,000 plus damages.
