Ross Park Zoo to Host Zoo and Treat Saturday | News

The Ross Park Zoo is bringing back its annual Halloween celebration.

The event, Zoo and Treat, takes place this Saturday and invites families to enjoy a day of candy stations and fun activities throughout the zoo.

As part of the fun, guests can also learn more about the zoo’s snow leopard, Tushar, in honor of International Snow Leopard Day.

“We’ll provide some treats and walk through and experience the zoo on a great fall day. Fall is a great time to visit the zoo,” said Phillip Ginter, executive director of the Ross Park Zoo. Our animals are much more active in the cooler weather, so it’s a great time to come out and experience the zoo, and get some extra little treats.”

Doors are open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets are $8 for guests ages three and older, while children two and under get in free. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
