Office provider Knotel is pulling out of the Irish market
Knotel, the WeWork rival that was once valued at $1.6 billion (€1.36 billion), is pulling out of the Irish market. The flexible office provider, which went through bankruptcy proceedings in the US in 2021, operates two buildings in Dublin’s Silicon Docks. Creditors’ meetings for Knotel’s two Irish corporate entities have been called with the intention of appointing liquidators. Tom Murray and Anthony Glennon of Friel Stafford are lined up to liquidate the companies and repudiate the leases on its locations. It is understood that the companies have little external debt.
