€17m NCH claim lands in court four years later
As works continue to complete the National Children’s Hospital, now expected to start treating patients next year, the project’s main construction contractor Bam this week introduced a new legal claim against its State-backed developer. Solicitors at A&L Goodbody, instructed by Bam Building Ltd, issued a plenary summons against the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board (NPHDB) in the High Court on Wednesday, adding to a series of similar cases between the two parties previously lodged over the lifetime of the project, most recently in December 2024.
