An examiner has now been appointed to foodtech firm Senoptica, following weeks of contentious back-and-forth between company creditors and a company founder, who had initially opposed the move. Loan-note holders to Senoptica, using a vehicle called Boole Nominees Ltd, appointed Declan De Lacy of Fides as interim examiner to the company on October 13 because they believed it was “hopelessly insolvent”.
