An Post and Fastway Couriers: A “competitive market” or “predatory pricing”?
Fastway Couriers, one of Ireland’s largest parcel delivery firms, which is now facing closure, wrote to its biggest competitor An Post last year accusing it of “flagrant predatory pricing” in its package delivery business. An Post wrote back denying this allegation and rejecting further allegations, including one that it was the “dominant” player in the market.
